Everton Transfers: 9 Players Martinez Must Sign In January

3. Keisuke Honda (AC Milan)

Japanese international Keisuke Honda is believed to have been on Everton€™s radar for a while now, and a quick glance at his credentials is enough to tell you why. The AC Milan star would bring versatility to the final third, as he€™s equally comfortable playing as an attacking midfielder, deep-lying playmaker, or second striker. He€™s also a dead-ball specialist with a lethal free kick among his box of tricks, along with stacks of dribbling flare. Honda would be a fine addition to the Premier League, or any of Europe€™s top divisions for that matter. A legend in his home country with more than 60 international caps to his name, Honda joined Milan from Russian outfit CSKA Moscow in 2013, but has found first-team football hard to come by this season. And with the Rossoneri said to be interested in Mirallas, perhaps a deal for the Belgian international that would see Honda moving in the opposite direction could be brokered.
