Earlier this week it emerged that Fulham were targeting Sergio Canales to help them in their relegation battle. The skilful midfielder is a former Real Madrid player but is now unwanted by his current club Valencia, which opens up the possibility of the player making a move today. The problem for Fulham is that the midfielder is reported to be close to a 3.5million switch to Real Sociedad, which means Fulham must make a move quickly. The London club could still seal their man though if they rival the Basque side.
