Rodgers's lads have let in 25 goals on the road in all competitions. That is double the number the defence has had put past them at Anfield in 2013. The gloomy stats do not end there either. Four clean sheets out of 18 away is a poor return. Only one of those has come this season which should give Rodgers pause for thought. Even relegation threatened teams like Sunderland are spoiling shutouts. The clamour for Agger to come back in gains more momentum. Liverpool have perhaps played their way into trouble on occasion. That is also an ironic problem for Rodgers, but he is too set in his ways to stop his teams passing out from the back.
