Hear me out Liverpool fans. If you look across the league the best strikers are supported by a great strike-partner or creative midfielders. Liverpool don't really have either of those, yet Suarez still shows his class and tears teams apart. With Daniel Sturridge out injured for a couple of months, Suarez now has the front line to himself. His SAS partnership with Sturridge was superb and I was concerned that when he was ruled out for a few months that Suarez would struggle. He hasn't. Suarez scored in the Merseyside derby before Sturridge game off the bench and then hit four against Norwich. He's proved he doesn't need that strike partner but he will also work just as well with one. That's exactly what you want. Liverpool do have some creative midfielders. Gerrard and Coutinho are superb players, they make a lot of chances, but Liverpool's midfield isn't that impressive. If you compare their depth to those of their Champions League rivals then it is pretty concerning. However, Suarez doesn't make this the issue it should be as he can create opportunities for himself of which most are out of nothing.
