Lavezzi continues to be linked with Liverpool ever since he was publicly told he could leave Paris Saint-Germain. Liverpool were strongly linked with the a move for him during the January transfer window but the bid of £8 million was deemed unacceptable. PSG manager, Laurent Blanc has stated that the Argentine attacker is available for around £14 million which could see Liverpool regain their interest. Lavezzi would give Liverpool a wealth of experience and despite it being against Rodgers' philosophy to sign a 30-year-old it would offer Liverpool a player who has outstanding quality going forward. For a relatively low fee they could afford to bring in the PSG midfielder alongside another top level transfer.
