Luis Suarez: The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

1. Biting Branislav Ivanovi‡: Jaws 2

Now we come to brainless act number two. The sequel if you like. Why would he do it again? Why would he not learn from his mistakes? Why would he plunge Liverpool into yet another farcical PR disaster? I don't know, I don't know and I don't know that either. He is a behavioural enigma. There' just no sticking up for him on this issue - it's clear as day and now he's wound up with a gigantic 10 game ban. Just what Liverpool did not need. Just when Liverpool fans thought his character had become almost likeable to opposition fans he does this. The boos had been lessening, some United fans were even praising Suárez - this is something that happens on rare occasions and when it does I treasure it. Now though, he's thrown it all away all because Chelsea's number 2 tackled him. Liverpool fans can no longer argue his case - they can only stand beside his decisions and hope he tries once more to regain the public's popularity. In the media crazed society of the United Kingdom, he will never, ever be able to forget this incident. Unfortunately, I believe this will be the event that defines Suárez' Premier League adventure.
