Liverpool fans are suckers for hard working players. Sometimes you don't need to be that talented - if you work hard for the team and never stop running you're probably on course to be an Anfield great. The last one of recent times was Dirk Kuyt - the much loved Dutchman. He would run and run but sometimes go months without a Premier League goal - and we still loved him. Suárez is of that same mould. He never stops running even when we're deep into stoppage time - 97th minute header against Chelsea, anybody? Liverpool fans appreciate this type of player more than most and he'll always be fondly thought of because of this great trait.
