3. Give Garcia A Go - For Yaya

The Italian plumped for Javi Garcia, a Spaniard, for the sum of £15.8 million. Tall, athletic, tough and intelligent in his football, the Benfica man looked like a great fit, but has struggled for first team action so far at the Etihad, in part due to a thigh injury. It has escaped the attention of few that Yaya Toure is not the same, commanding, explosive driving force as he was for much of last season. The Ivorian seems less powerful and effective in this campaign, often drifting out of games that he once commanded. City miss De Jong. Although he didn't always play, his bullish tackling and boundless energy provided the necessary anchor for Toure to bomb forward and devastate opposition sides. Without the balance he provided, Toure cannot flourish. The only solution is to use the man Mancini spent his money on, Javi Garcia. Gareth Barry is not mobile nor defensively skilled enough to allow Toure freedom to roam forward, so it's time for Mancini to bet on himself and give the Spaniard a chance and get back his most dangerous weapon.
