Newcastle United nearly took the lead after Aleksandar Mitrovic's powerful header struck the bar after a fabulous cross from Chancel Mbemba. The striker was strong, confident and gave the Magpies a commanding presence up front. The 20-year-old demonstrated his ability to be more effective than Papiss Cisse and represents a real threat playing up front on his own. The player will have done enough to earn a start against Arsenal next weekend and will hope to score his first goal for the club at St James' Park.
