A common criticism of the current Manchester United squad is that it lacks any genuine pace. Angel Di Maria is no slouch, and there are a few other players at the club who are far from slow, but Utd is a club that has so often been known for having players with genuinely scary pace. Whilst Arejen Robben wowed for Louis Van Gaals Dutch side in Brazil last summer, Memphis Depay was another player who made his mark and impressed many. The young PSV forward, who only turned 21 this February, has a strong bond with Louis Van Gaal and has openly talked about how he sees LVG as a father figure. Given that Utds quest for a top four finish looks like going down to the wire, that could have a huge knock on attracting transfer targets to Old Trafford for next season. With the strong relationship between Depay and LVG, even if Champions League football was to allude Utd then there would still be enough appeal for Memphis to join the Red Devils. The arrival of Depay would add a vibrancy and freshness to a Utd team that is crying out for a spark going forward. With his directness and skill, Depay would certainly get the Old Trafford faithful off their feet, be it primarily on the wing or even down the middle. Out of all of the players on this list, Memphis Depay is the one most likely to make the jump to Old Trafford once the season is over.
