Man Utd Transfers: 3 Players Fergie MUST SELL In The Summer

2. Anderson

Watching Anderson play football is somewhat a challenge. Just when he starts getting on form, he either tires or gets injured. Anderson was purchased for around £20 million back in 2007 from Portuguese side FC Porto. Anderson was once seen as a player who could fill the boots of Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick, I have left Paul Scholes out of that simply because I don€™t honestly think that Ferguson considered Anderson on a similar level to Paul Scholes, especially with them being completely different players. Anderson lacks determination in the English game, his five goals in 93 appearances for United is a record he cannot brag about. The 24-year-old looks sluggish most of the time and when he does try to make a difference he is soon taken off due to fitness or injury. With the likes of Tom Cleverly coming through and establishing himself as a strong player for United in the games he has participated in, there is no real need for Anderson. Anderson€™s only career record he can boast about is his time with the Brazilian U17€™s squad where he scored seven goals in 12 games or his time at Gremio back in 2004-05 where he managed to score six in 19. Anderson isn€™t a bad player, I personally think he just doesn't fit into the English game. Manchester United could easily get £10 million for the player, money which could help attract the likes of Mesut Ozil, a player who really could make a difference (obviously United would have to add around another £20 million to the pot to secure the German). Selling Anderson would be a great decision but current rumours are suggesting that Anderson could make his way back to Porto in exchange for James Rodriguez which could force out my number one player Ferguson should sell.
