Perhaps, it shouldnt come as any great surprise that Cardiff City are reported to be favourites to sign Zaha on loan. As soon as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as the clubs new manager; it was always likely that his reputation for playing for Man Utd, as well as managing their reserve team was going to have some pull, especially with Sir Alex Ferguson who is still in the background at the club as a director. The Bluebirds are another one of those sides to have struggled for goals this season with only 15 scored from their 20 league games; the fact that the club has also suffered three defeats from their four EPL games, means that they could really do with some fresh emphasis. Two areas that the club have really struggled in is dribbling and taking shots. In both categories they are in the bottom three of the league with just 10.5 shots and 7.1 dribbles per match. If Zaha does prove to be a primary target for Solskjaer then he will be hoping that he can play a big role in improving both of those key attacking statistics. It will be important though for the other players around him to also step up.
