Man Utd Transfers: 5 Players To Replace Patrice Evra

By Matt Robinson /

Patrice Evra could well be moving to newly promoted Ligue 1 side AS Monaco for a fee of £10 million, new Manchester United manager, David Moyes, will need to find a replacement for the Frenchman at some point in the summer. Evra is one of the most experienced players at the club and at the age of 32-years-old he still has some time at the top level left in him. With United only having Alexander Buttner and Fabio capable of comfortably playing at left-back, losing Evra could be disastrous if Moyes fails to find a suitable replacement. Evra joined The Red Devils from AS Monaco in 2006 but after seven successful years at Old Trafford, he is now being linked with a move back to his former club. Evra has been part of a United squad that has won several league titles as well as the 2008 Champions League victory in Moscow. With David Moyes likely to have his own ideas of who to bring in as a replacement, should the Frenchman decided to re-join Monaco, Sir Alex Ferguson€™s successor may find himself being forced to compete with other top teams should any of these players become available. Here is a list of potential talent that could help fill the gap if Patrice Evra decides to leave.
