This week Tim Krul has been predicting things and believes that Newcastle United can be a "surprise package this season". The 27-year-old made two brilliant saves last Sunday and his reaction stop from Mayo Yoshida's header subsequently led to the Magpies' second goal. The Dutch-keeper was sharp throughout and could not be blamed for either of the two goals that he conceded. Speaking to the Mirror Sport, Krul said:
"Because of what happened last year, nobody is expecting anything. We will surprise a few people and its great to be the underdogs. Let people talk about other teams and think we wont be anywhere - we know different."
