As we look for more potential replacements for Pilkington, we are off to the Eredivisie in Holland in the shape of FC Twentes winger Quincy Promes. The young Dutchman is currently on loan with Go Ahead Eagles, suggesting that he might be available for the right buyer at the right price. However, his form this season may convince his parent club into thinking that Promes is worth retaining; he hasnt yet made his debut for the Dutch national side but has played seven times for the U21 side, scoring two goals. This is very much a case of snapping a young player up before he really hits the big-time, and would then be arguably out of Norwichs grasp. This seasons has been particularly impressive, and especially on his ability to score goals with nine coming from his 16 starts. Further stats on him include 3.4 shots, 2.5 key passes and 1.4 dribbles per match; he has also managed to contribute four assists and have an average rating of 7.73. The slight complication is he usually plays on the right while Pilkington is usually used on the left, but its the qualities that Promes can bring to the table that we should focus on.
