7. Peter Odemwingie's Transfer Deadline Day Madness
The January transfer window was relatively quiet and dull, with no spectacular bids to talk about and very few dramatic deadline-day deals worth nothing. However, West Brom's Peter Odemwingie did bring some light relief to an otherwise tepid transfer window with his deadline-dad madness. The 31-year-old, who had been a target for QPR throughout the January transfer window, drove to London to try and force through a deal, against the wishes and knowledge of West Brom. What happened next was quite hysterical. Spotted by Sky Sports locked outside Loftus Road with the R's refusing to talk to him, Odemwingie continued to press the issue by speaking as though he was actually a QPR player, exclaiming his beliefs that "we can still stay up this season". QPR didn't stay up and Odemwingie didn't join them, either. He hasn't played a full game for the Baggies since.
