7. Arsenal Will Not Win The League Unless They Invest

We all had a sneaking suspicion that the Arsenal squad wasn€™t quite up to scratch, but their opening day defeat to last year€™s strugglers Aston Villa hammered home how far behind their rivals they really are. It€™s not like they haven€™t been trying and god does love a trier, but you know that feeling when sometimes trying your best just isn€™t good enough? Ask Mr Wenger how that feels.

6. Manchester United Won€™t Be All Change

One of the biggest questions banded around by journalists was whether or not David Moyes would upheave 26 years of hard work by Sir Alex or whether he would continue in the same vain. I think it was always going to be the case that this season would be one of continuation while the new manager gets his feet firmly under the Old Trafford desk. Watching them line up and play against exciting Welsh outfit Swansea on Saturday made it clear to see that United will be an Alex Ferguson team for at least one more season.
