David Silva's return from injury could not have been better timed after the rather timid start Manchester City have made to their latest quest for Premier League glory. Silva injected some much needed guile into the City midfield and his unbelievable eye for a pass shone through on a few occasions during the 3-1 victory over Everton on Saturday. The Spain international combined well with Yaya Toure on the edge of the Everton box on numerous occasions and presented a glorious chance for Sergio Aguero after a very well worked, training ground rehearsed free kick. Had the Argentine striker put the chance away it would have taken some beating for team goal of the season. Expect City to go up another gear now Silva is back in the fold.
