Ranking Chelsea’s Premier League Goalkeepers – Worst to Best

By Danny Gee /

10. Ross Turnbull

Chelsea Career: 2009-2013, 6 appearances. Highly rated youngster Turnbull arrived at the Bridge after his Middlesbrough contract expired. The first of his limited appearances for Chelsea came in a reserve game against Aston Villa, in which Turbull conceded four goals in 4-0 loss. The keeper, who played in goal for the England youth sides, played only a handful of games for the London club, and despite his intentions to battle it out with first choice Cech, the majority of his minutes came in cup ties. Chelsea€™s title-winning campaign of 2010 was the keeper's first season with the club, however he did not meet the minimum appearance requirements to earn a winner€™s medal. After four seasons Turnbull was released from his contract.
