One of Umbro's finest efforts was the sleek 2011-12 offering, donned by the one and only Nicklas Bendtner during his time at the club. It was a no-mess red and white kit, but the thick black trim around the neck and arms made the whole kit look outstanding. The diagonal red and white stripes at the top of the back half of the shirt wouldn't have pleased too many OCD supporters who like symmetry and order, but the shirt was a hit and for once Umbro had a design-friendly sponsor to work with.
