Recent reports in Turkey claim Spurs are interested in signing Galatasary's prolific goalscorer Burak Yilmaz. The Turkish international has just enjoyed a remarkable debut season at Gala, scoring 24 goals in 30 appearances following last summer's switch from Trabzonspor. In his final season there, Yilmaz netted a dizzying 33 times in 34 appearances and has since continued that blistering form at Galatasaray, where he also scored 8 times in 9 Champions League appearances. That form helped him emerge as one of European football's hottest properties having previously failed to make an impact at Besiktas and Fenerbahce. But now, newspaper Aksam says that Spurs are preparing a £17 million offer for the 28-year-old, who is also a target for Fulham.
