Top 5 Premier League Transfers Of The Season So Far

By Kieran Milward /

1. Michu - Swansea City - £2 million

Quite simply the bargain of the century. Signed for £2 million from Rayo Vallecano, the unknown Spaniard burst onto the Premier League scene with two goals in Swansea's first game of the season against QPR; And he certainly hasn't looked back. He currently has 13 league goals and 16 in all competitions, proving he is not just a flash in the pan. He is powerful, skilful and can play up front or in midfield, giving Swansea plenty of options and, as his record shows, he definitely knows where the back of the net is. He tops my list for all of these reasons making him the signing of the season and possibly the best signing of the last 10 years.
