And of course, that sort of information tends to stick better if the source comes with the invaluable ITK badge, whether that source is actually as in the know as they might suggest. These are the worst kind of growths on the modern game, feeding off the normal fan's insatiable need for information by dropping hints based on their knowledge of the inner workings of certain clubs, or their experience working in the game.
