On joining Leeds United on loan in 2012, Andros realised he had left his boots at Spurs training ground. This was on the day he was supposed to make his debut in a game against Burnley, so he got a taxi to drive 200 miles to drop them off at Leeds' Thorp Arch training base. The then Leeds manager Simon Grayson said at the time: "He borrowed a pair boots to train with the lads on Sunday. "I dont know if the training ground at Tottenham was closed or whatever, but they were shipped up by taxi from London on Monday morning for the Burnley game."
