10 Best Villainous Voice Actors In The DC Animated Universe
10. Brad Garrett - Lobo
It was inevitable that Lobo would make an appearance in the DCAU at some point. In the early nineties, the character was appearing in dozens of one-shot comics and making guest appearances in many other DC books - his over the top violence and demeanour fit perfectly with the 'gritty' era of comics.
Brad Garrett's booming bass drum of a voice introduced him in appropriate fashion, sounding like he was having a blast while pushing the boundaries of Lobo's language, pastimes, and love of wanton destruction as much as the DC censors would allow.
Garrett captured Lobo's unique anti-hero nature, first squaring off with The Man of Steel in Superman: The Animated Series, then a few years later attempting to replace Superman when he 'died' during the events of Justice League's Hereafter episode.
Snarky, sarcastic, arrogant, and overwhelmingly confident all at the same time, Garrett nailed the voice of The Main Man.
