10 Biggest Star Trek Battles We Never Got To See

10. The Borg Attacks

The Borg are easily one of the greatest villains ever conceived in Star Trek. Their simplicity is also the source of the fear they inspire – they are one mind and one force, leaving a devastating swathe in their wake. Having said that, the audience has seen relatively little of the actual might of the Collective on-screen.

Beginning with the destruction of the colonies, both Federation and Romulan, along the Neutral Zone, the Borg had a tendency to leave tokens rather than attack head-on. The giant craters of their invasions spoke to the terror they inspired, without ever showing the attacks.

Wolf 359, the first, greatest battle that the franchise offered the audience, was teased in The Best of Both Worlds and Emissary, though has yet to be fully depicted. The Battle of Sector 001, while incredibly impressive in what was seen in Star Trek: First Contact, was but a fraction of the full conflict that Starfleet took part in.

Despite the Borg appearing every other episode in Voyager, their true might has yet to be shown to the fans, something that could easily be rectified in Star Trek: Picard.
