10. Uhura's New Tribble

If some random guy in a bar tries to give you an alien pet that he casually pulls out of a jacket pocket, just say no.

We're pretty sure that Uhura must have broken at least a dozen regulations when she brought her new pet tribble (let's call it Dave) onto the Enterprise. But we can't be mad about it. With its super-soft fur and gentle cooing, we'd have brought the adorable ball of fluff home, too.

And frankly, we're not sure why Kirk was so grumpy about the escapade. Not only did he have more important things to worry about, namely Klingon shenanigans, but how could he possibly be cranky surrounded by purring little furballs?

Okay, they multiply at an alarming rate...good. The more the merrier. Plodding through yet another diagnostic would be so much nicer with some tribble company at your console. And yes, they started to pile up throughout the ship, but that just means you can turn your spare room into the galaxy's cosiest ball pit.

In the end, Scotty took it upon himself to solve the problem by transporting the whole lot onto a Klingon vessel. Despite the crew giggling away at the prospect, it still gives us nightmares. Considering how much Klingons hate tribbles, we don't even want to think about the fate that might have befallen Dave and his little friends.
