2. Persistence Is Key

Lesson:

Being able to look after yourself even when things are good is a great way to prepare yourself for hardships. Arya is a great role model for young girls who would otherwise look for a man to look after them.

Who? 

Arya Stark was never a doe caught in the headlights like her sister Sansa. She wanted to learn how to defend herself even before she needed to. By the 5th season she'd already killed a handful of grown men and shown no mercy when The Hound met his end.

Now she's learning to become a faceless fighter, and how she will fare we'll only find out later in the series, but she is persistent and always has been.
