Show: Mork & Mindy Mork & Mindy ran from 1978 to 1982, and the late Robin Williams won audiences over as the fish-out-of-water alien Mork from Ork. His pairing with Pam Dawber's Mindy, however, makes the show. While a light-hearted sitcom, Mork and Mindy do eventually marry, after a romance that began in the second season of the show. The actual marriage, however, didn't take place until the fourth and final season. It is in that season that the couple have a child - hatched from an egg, as all Orkians do. That "child" - born as an adult and reversing in age - was played by Williams' idol, Jonathan Winters, who passed away in 2013 after a long career in comedy. Williams, of course, would pass away earlier this year, leaving a hugely influential body of work behind, which began, for many fans, with Mork & Mindy.
