10 Reasons Why The Walking Dead Should Just End Already

The Walking Dead is one of the most-viewed series on TV today, and over the years it has turned many viewers into hard-core fans, through graphic violence, suspense, character development, and good acting.
But while many tuned in to see the season 7 premiere, the show has really gotten repetitive over the last few seasons, and some of us are wondering just when the show will come to a conclusion. Will season 7 be one last, good season before the show comes to a close?
AMC graciously lets the creators of two of its biggest shows, Breaking Bad and Madmen, bring the series to a close when they chose to, even if the ratings of Breaking Bad were still rising with each new season. Perhaps, it’s time to do the same for The Walking Dead.
A planned, exciting ending will shock fans and bring a great show to a meaningful close. Ratings aren’t everything, and the creative side of the show shouldn’t dwindle out and lose fans as it goes on for too long. Some parts of the show are lacking. Quite a few actually, here they are.
10. The Ratings Are Slipping
The season 6 finale attracted only 14.2 million viewers, a staggering 10 per cent drop from the season 5 finale, which seen 15.8 million viewers tune-in for the episode. For the 18-49 audience the drop was bigger, at 15 per cent.
While the season 7 premiere attracted a high percentage of viewers, it seems that the numbers only spike when poop is about to hit the fan. In general, a growing boredom seems to be developing with young viewers, and AMC needs to figure out what the next step is pretty soon.
The Daryl development is one of the shows last unseen plot-lines, so lets hope it's the final move.
