Of course, none of these good qualities would matter if the show wasn't funny. Fortunately it is really, really, extremely, consistently, laugh-til-you-cry-actual-tears funny. Though a lot of the humour comes from the characters themselves, the writers and actors are also not afraid to mix things up with incredibly stupid wordplay or classic slapstick. It's a show that's hilarious without ever resorting to meanness or talking down to its audience. Every single performer on the show is gifted with brilliant comic timing and the writers have been careful to highlight each of them at different times, so it feels like an equally-matched ensemble cast. After the highs of seasons one and two, season three is already firing on all cylinders. If you're not watching yet, get binging.
