Nothing is more irritating than finding out that a "fan" has skipped the Ninth Doctor. Yep, there are actually people who do that. The usual trend is like so: they forego watching the first series, end up claiming David Tennant as their favourite and go on ahead failing in jiggery pokery. Its sad and appalling but mostly preposterous because the Ninth Doctor was fantastic. Then again, what would you expect from someone whos skipped the Classic series as well? The Ninth Doctor was born in battle, which gave way to his dark and heated nature long before the Twelfth Doctor (as some of you who skipped might not know). He had a smart mouth, the greatest burns and was essentially the most badass a Doctor that fans had ever seen before. Seriously, he wore a leather jacket for crying out loud. He was also the first Doctor to meet Rose Tyler (technically), Jackie Tyler, Ricky - err, Mickey Smith, and Jack Harkness, so theres really not much reason to skip him, other than the ears, which are easily his best feature when you think about it. Also, for a lot of the fans, he was their first Doctor, who otherwise wouldnt have continued to watch the series had he not been so incredible.
