One of the unanswered questions at the end of last season was the fate of Detective Quentin Lance. After suffering what appeared to be internal injuries while fighting Slade's army, Lance collapsed in the arms of his daughter and looked to be in very bad shape. Luckily, it appears the beloved detective is back on the mend and possibly even holding a higher position in the Starling City Police Department. In the trailer, he is shown standing with a cane with what looks like a Captain's uniform. With a degree of authority, it puts him in a better position to help Oliver fight the criminal element in Starling City as well as keep the cops off his back. Isn't that what every vigilante needs?
