She can still hold her head high as the youngest ever female solo artist to debut at a #1 single when her first musical offering, Because We Want To, was released in 1998 and became one of the decade's iconic pop anthems as the official song of the 1999 Women's World Cup. And it's not like it was a one hit wonder, either. It even went multi-platinum in New Zealand and, although Billie never won any of the coveted BRIT Awards for which she was nominated, she was once given the prestigious title of Princess of Pop which pretty much blows any other form of recognition out of the park.
