10 Times Star Trek Actors Got Arrested
Which Star Trek actors have had run ins with the law?
Star Trek has been around for nearly sixty years and in that time there have been many actors, guest stars, and others who appeared on-screen.
While it would be a miracle if none of these people had ever faced difficulty with the law, there are a surprisingly low number of them who have been arrested. Not bad, when one considers the thousands of faces in the Final Frontier.
There are a few names who have been highlighted in the media for alleged crimes that they have committed, though are not present on this list as they have not been arrested in relation to them.
Stephen Collins, Captain Decker from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, is not present as he was never arrested in connection with the accusations brought against him, and the same is true of Bryan Singer, who appeared in Star Trek: Nemesis.
While both men may appear on a future list, the entries here are those who have been arrested and charged over the misdemeanors, felonies, and crimes they've been accused of.
10. Simon Billig
Simon Billig is the English actor who appeared in Star Trek: Voyager as Lieutenant Hogan, the ex-Maquis crewman who worked alongside B’Elanna Torres in engineering. While he eventually settled into service on-board the Federation starship, his life was brutally cut short after a fatal encounter with a Hanonian Land Eel. Only shards of his uniform were ever found, until the Voth discovered his skeleton.
In 2013, Billig was arrested and charged with forging a prescription that he tried to fill out at a pharmacy in Southport. Police said Billig went to Switzer's Pharmacy on Pequot Avenue in January and dropped off prescriptions that the pharmacist believed had been altered. The date on the prescriptions appeared to have been changed, which isn't unusual, but said change not been initialled by the doctor, according to the report.
He was released on $2000 bail.
