These two pieces of work are included on the list for entirely different reasons than the others. Together, they've convinced the world that their kind of relationship is normal, that it makes total sense to have the schlubby guy who screws up literally everything he touches paired up with the impossibly beautiful wife who just sort of goes along with it. And it's sort of supposed to be endearing. It's offensive and does a disservice to both genders, because it tells men that they're not capable of more and women that they're not worthy of more. Yes, it's just a silly cartoon, but it's also a popular, long-running television show, and those are the sort of things that get ingrained in the greater cultural psyche. This is not how relationships are supposed to work, and the fact that this is pawned off as somewhat normal is unhealthy - it makes people think that they shouldn't expect more than a moronic husband or a nagging wife.
