10 TV Nerds Who Could Kick Your Ass

4. Sherlock - Sherlock

Obsessive, socially inept, brilliant, and dangerous. All words that describe Sherlock Holmes, especially when played by Benedict Cumberbatch. He's one of those genius types who goes a bit mad when his brain isn't busy, and will do pretty much anything to keep himself busy (including shooting holes in his living room walls). Sherlock shows a keen interest in helping people one moment, then a shocking disregard for human life the next. He's capable of teaching himself pretty much anything, so it's not outside the realm of possibilities that he could learn some form of martial arts over a bank holiday weekend. And while John is clearly the muscle in the duo (as odd as that sounds in reference to pint-sized Martin Freeman, who we still can't stop picturing as a hobbit), Sherlock isn't exactly helpless -- he can definitely take care of himself. Especially after Cumberbatch started bulking up for his work in Star Trek. Which makes him doubly threatening -- if he doesn't out think you (which he will), there's always brute force to fall back on.
