Little is yet known about this series, set to debut in the fall of this year from Disney XD, except that it looks to feature the same lineup of Guardians seen in the movie: Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax, still running afoul of authority as they stand up for what's right despite themselves. The show is likely to essentially replace S.M.A.S.H. in Disney XD's Marvel lineup. Anticipation Level: Fair. The Guardians' inherent lovability buys them some audience attention right out of the gate, enough that it doesn't really matter that the promotions so far have gone over basically the same ground as the movie.
