An archaic police box collecting dust, its paint peeling and faded, may seem the most dull, unobtrusive object sitting on a deserted street corner. Tucked inside, however, is infinite possibility across time and space. All you need is a key and a bit of imagination to access its inconceivable wonders, just waiting to be unlocked. That's something to mull over the next time you absent-mindedly stroll past an inconspicuous police box. The relic may very well be a time machine... or an ordinary box. It all depends on who opens the doors. When you think about it, people function in the much the same way. Hasty in judgment, we tend to surmise about each other based solely on first impressions and outward appearance, snapshots of a personality that in no way encompass its entirety. Sometimes, a bit of patience and open mindedness can disprove your initial thoughts, unhinging the barriers of prejudice and bigotry to reveal endless potential for insight and newfound friendship. When it comes to understanding people, think outside of the box to see inside the person. It's quite simple, really.
