12 Things Doctor Who Has Taught You Better Than Your Parents

5. Stop Showing Off

On a planet inhabited by the pudding brains, the Doctor can't help but execute his impressive Time Lord moves and gibber on about exotic alien species thriving in distant galaxies. Just nod uncomprehendingly or give a good whack on his face to cease the endless chatter. Companions have been coerced to do so on more occasions than one, as the Doctor can be a bit too pleased with himself after arriving at the realization that he is brilliant (yet again). If anything, Doctor Who should instill the virtue of humbleness in its young viewers. Even though you may have just saved the world from subjugation by interstellar pepperpots, humility should always be exercised in these situations. Don't let your ego become bigger on the outside.
