Appeared in: Season 3, Episode 7 (first appearance) - "Offspring" One of the more interesting creeps on Angel was vengeful yet surprisingly down to earth (and masculine, though not human male - you get that, right?) time travelling demon Sahjan. Sahjan turned up in the third season following the birth of Angel's son, Connor, giving the vampire hunter Holtz, who had long hunted Angelus, Angel's evil former self, the chance to follow his prey through time. In that sense, Sahjan was a bit of a Mephistopheles in the world of Angel, but what made him so damn good was how likable of a bad guy he was. You almost understood the reason he was so evil: Angel's son Connor would one day grow up to kill him. He had to somehow prevent that to save his own skin, and used his time traveling abilities to try and pull it off. Really, could you blame him? The amount of carnage Sahjan caused for Angel and his team is almost unparalleled despite Sahjan not even being a "big bad" on the show.
