Caitlin Moran is a British broadcaster, TV critic and columnist at The Times newspaper who has recently been in the news thanks to a "twitter silence" she organised to protest against online abuse and encourage social network sites to increase their security and make it easier to report such abuse. Not short of controversy herself, she came under attack for various tweets which "humorously" used the word "AIDS" to get laughs. Above all else, however, Moran is a supremely talented writer whose work includes the book "How To Be a Woman", which has sold around half a million copies worldwide. A proud feminist and ladette, Moran would be a controversial and entertaining housemate.
