3. What's Happening With Eleven? - Stranger Things

Stranger Things burst onto screens and into audience's hearts last summer, a winning combination of mystery, nostalgia, and easily likeable characters. At the very core of the show's appeal and subsequent success was Millie Bobby Brown, aka Eleven.

Giving one of the best TV performances of the year, Brown's El was a mix of vulnerable outsider, childlike wonder, and total badass. And then, well, she was seemingly killed, or at least taken away from this dimension, saying a definitive goodbye to her friends.

Except that's not how it ended, as the closing moments revealed Detective Hopper - after going off with some shady officials - to somehow still be in contact with her.

We know that Brown will be back in Season 2, so we're left to wonder exactly where she is, how she survived, and just what is going on with her right now - as well as how she'll be making it back to Hawkins.
