2. What's The Story? - Twin Peaks

After 25 years away, Twin Peaks - the cult classic that has remained as popular as it is enigmatic since its debut in the early '90s - is making a big return. David Lynch is back, so too are most of the cast, with a huge number of new ones and 18 episodes for them to appear in.

Although the revival will begin in May, details are still very much being kept under wraps. Some hints were revealed by the book The Secret History of Twin Peaks, written by co-creator Mark Frost, outlining a new FBI agent who is tasked with analysing a mysterious dossier related to Twin Peaks and its inhabitants.

It's a nice little tease, but there's still a lot we don't know: where Agent Cooper's been, how the show will handle the leap in time, the identity of the person who compiled the dossier, and what its contents reveal. And that's not to mention whether the show can regain its initial magic. Twin Peaks 2017 has a lot to live up to, and a lot of questions to answer.
