Who can forget Michael Jackson or Dustin Hoffman€™s cameos in the early days of the show? Well clearly the credit makers because officially they didn€™t appear.

The mental patient who thinks he€™s Jackson was actually played by John Jay Smith and Lisa€™s substitute crush Mr Bergstrom was voiced by Sam Etic. Due to contractual reasons neither actor could contribute to the show, so did their guest turns under pseudonyms to work around it.

Of course, everyone knew who the voices really were (and Hoffman€™s fake name was clearly a pun), but highlighting contractual stupidity, this was apparently OK.
