Given it€™s the longest running sitcom on television, it€™s unsurprising that The Simpsons has had some of it€™s elements replicated in real life, either by Fox or overinvensted fans.

The most obvious thing to do, the family€™s house, was first done in 1997 as part of a tie in with Pepsi. Built as part of a contest, the winner could either live in it or settle for a sizeable cash prize. Then in 2007, to help promote The Simpsons Movie, some 7-Eleven€™s were turned into Kwik-E-Marts selling various Springfield-themed products.

Most interesting, however, came just one month ago. The Homer, the car Homer designed in the classic episode Oh Brother, Where Art Thou has come to the real world, courtesy of Porcubimmer Motors.
