Sabrina might still conjure up memories of the 90s sitcom first and foremost, but the debut season of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina went a long way towards changing that.

Although still a little rough around the edges, this new horror-tinged take on the teenage witch - adapted by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa from his own comic - is a devilishly dark take, brilliantly mixing the two very distinct halves of Sabrina's life for both teenage drama and some real creepiness.
Kiernan Shipka is great in the lead role, while the supporting cast is an absolute delight - led by her aunts, Miranda Otto and Lucy Davis - and after her monumental decision at the end of Season 1, Season 2 should be even more spellbinding.
