Christopher Barry will be remembered as the longest serving director of the Classic Series. Throughout his time on the show he helmed 43 episodes across 18 years including some of its most acclaimed adventures such as The Daleks (1963) which marked the first on screen appearance of the Doctor's most formidable adversary. He is also one of only three directors to have worked with all four of the show's original Doctors. He passed away on 7th February.
