Maggie Stables will be remembered by Doctor Who for her portrayal of the Sixth Doctor's companion Evelyn Smythe in the Big Finish productions. She appeared in twenty audio adventures but sadly passed away after a long illness on 26th September Her co-star Colin Baker described her as a "lovely, generous, kind and wise lady" and honoured Evelyn with the accolade of being his Doctor's definitive companion.
