Writer Jane Baker will be remembered, alongside her husband and writing partner Pip, for penning Classic Doctor Who adventures such as The Mark of the Rani (1985) and episodes of 1986's The Trial of a Time Lord serial. They are also credited for having created renegade Time Lord the Rani as well as the Doctor's companion Mel Bush. Jane passed away on 8th September.
